Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA. [=James Marcus Smith] b. 6 Nov 1938 (Houston, Texas); moved to Hollywood where he recorded as Jet Powers. Brought to the UK by Jack Good for a Beatles television special (1964). Played Iago in 'Catch My Soul' (1971), a rock version of 'Othello'.
