Laurel & Hardy

Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA. Stan Laurel (b. 1890, Ulverston, Lancs; d. Feb 1965) was understudy to Charlie Chaplin; moved to Hollywood in 1912. Oliver Hardy (b. 1892, Harlem, Georgia; d. Aug 1957) made short comedy films with Stan Laurel from 1927-1938.
